Article suggests Sandy Valley to be a Las Vegas suburb

A Christmas-day article in the Las Vegas Review Journal suggests a future where Las Vegas is much larger. The article paints a picture of a sprawling Las Vegas - "a larger suburban area that sprawls from the Arizona side of Hoover Dam, along Interstate 15 south of Las Vegas, to Pahrump and Mesquite". While the article doesn't specifically say so it seems Sandy Valley would be in the midst of this sprawling giant.
